This course unravels the three basic stages in life that form our behaviors, beliefs, attitudes, and ideals which in turn shape us into the individuals (good or bad) that we become. The first stage is Socialization. We are rationally educated to develop a career. In turn, we are conditioned and programmed by our family and community at large to become good citizens. This brings about both positive and negative belief systems. This phase also emphasizes the development of a relationship with oneself, with family, friends and lovers. The second stage is Healing. Here, we may begin to experience a deep emotional dissatisfaction in our lives. Relationships may fall apart; careers may fail. We may explore secret and self-destructive lifestyles through various addictions. This phase embodies the mysterious journey through our dark side to the eventual path of healing and re-birth. The third stage is Success. We discover through a conscious awakening and healing that we can transform our negative programming and choose to shape our own destiny.  We learn that a sustainable positive attitude that builds success is possible when we acknowledge the value of all three stages.
