March 2000:  David Icke presents six and a half hours of incredible information before a sell out audience at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The viewers will laugh, may even cry, and will often be on the edge of their seats at his version of human history and who really controls the world today. There's also video footage and hundreds of illustrations. 'The Illuminati', which he calls the forces of global control, tried to stop the presentation, he says. Media interviews were cancelled; immigration officials turned up at the theatre to question Mr. Icke's right to speak; pressure was applied on the venue to cancel the event itself; and pies were even thrown at Mr. Icke at a book signing by what he says was a rent-a-mob who ludicrously and outrageously sought to dub him a 'racist.'
